IaaS, or Infrastructure as a Service, revolves around moving your core infrastructure equipment to the cloud. No longer do companies need to buy and maintain, Telephone Systems, Servers, Firewalls, Surveillance Systems on their premises. They can now purchase the services like any utility. This provides enormous benefit to the company, but is likely to result in lower requirements for IT staffing.
